KUALA LUMPUR — A total of 132 tahfiz students of the Sri Petaling Mosque here were transferred to the quarantine station at the Institut Sosial Malaysia (ISM) today.
Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) in a statement noted that the department’s Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) team carried out the disinfecting process on all students before they were transferred.
“All tahfiz students were taken to the quarantine station in four buses escorted by the police,” the statement said.
It said the transfer process of all students was completed by about 2.30 pm and the four buses were then disinfected.
The Sri Petaling Mosque, which hosted the tabligh assembly on Feb 28 to March 1, is now the largest cluster of COVID-19 infections.
