SHAH ALAM, April 4 – The Jom Tolak Pakatan (Let’s Reject the Opposition) or ‘Jati’ secretariat, consisting of six non-governmental organisations (NGO) in Selangor will assist the police in the upcoming 13th General Election (GE13) through its volunteers. Jati secretary-general Norman Toha said the volunteers woulod assist the police in the state to prevent any provocations and untoward incidents.
“We will apprehend any individual or group who try to incite provocation during the GE13 and send them to the local authorities for further action as the people wants a peaceful election,” he told reporters at a press conference here, today.
Also present were Gagasan Anti Penyelewengan Selangor (GAPS) president Hamidzun Khairuddin, The Ikatan Kebajikan dan Dakwah Selangor president Rosdi Long, Selangor Perkasa president Abu Bakar Yahya, ‘Tolak Individu Bernama Anwar Ibrahim’ (Tibai) Selangor and Wilayah Persekutuan commisioner Wan Indra Putra Ahmad and the Perpaduan Insan Selangor Club vice-president T. Selvasingam.
