KUALA LUMPUR, June 1- Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin today conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families of those killed in the express boat tragedy in Sungai Rajang, Sarawak, last Tuesday.
“Together we pray for the safety of those still missing,” he said on his Facebook posting.
Muhyiddin also conveyed his thanks to members of the search and rescue team. The express boat was overloaded with passengers returning home for the Gawai festival when it capsized at Giam Bungan, Sungai Rajang near Belaga.
More than 190 people survived the incident, one has been confirmed dead and four are still missing.
