MELAKA, June 19- The Melaka Barisan Nasional (BN)state government is open to any recommendations or suggestions and constructive criticism including from the opposition, said Melaka Chief minister Datuk Idris Haron (photo).
He said the state government will take into account all the ideas as it would contribute to smart development of the state.
“I am open to any suggestions and constructive criticism, but it must be accompanied with facts and figures, not through emotion or just talk, this way, I believe Melaka can be more developed and the people will get the positive impacts,” he said after closing the State Legislative Assembly Procedure Course 2013 here today.
Meanwhile, Idris said all Melaka assemblymen would be sworn-in on July 1while the first session of the state assembly sitting would be officially opened by Yang Dipertua Negeri Melaka Tun Khalil Yaakob after the Aidilfitri celebration in August.
He said he also hoped that all the assemblymen would play their main role as trustworthy, efficient, tolerant and professional elected representatives, so that they can be a good example not only in Malaysia but around the world.
