New Dehli, Feb 27- HTC One was declared ‘smartphone of the year’ by GSMA, the group that organises the annual Mobile World Congress. For the last two years, Samsung got this award for Galaxy S2 and Galaxy S3. This year, however, HTC One emerged as winner.
Apple iPhone 5S, LG G2, Lumia 1020 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 were other nominees, a report on www.gsmarena.com said.
In other categories, Nokia Lumia 520 got the best low-cost smartphone and Nokia 105 the best entry-level feature phone.
