New Delhi, October 8 – Google’s incoming and highly rumoured Nexus 9 tablet has finally broken cover thanks to @upleaks. The tablet is rumoured to be built by HTC and this leak has happened just days before HTC’s October 8 New York event where it is expected to launch a new version of the HTC One (M8).
Interestingly, the Nexus 9 is expected to be announced at a different event where likely Google will also showcase the Nexus 6, which is being called the Motorola Shamu.
In terms of specifications, the Nexus 9 is expected to be a top of the line tablet, which will flaunt the Nvidia Tegra K1 64-bit processor. This processor will help showcase the power of 64-bit support on Android L.
Other features of the tablet, which are rumoured, include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 16GB and 32GB of storage options. Besides this the tablet is expected to have a 8.9-inch Full HD screen.
3GB of RAM and 100GB of Google Drive storage for two years, with support for 128GB of expansion. The tablet will run on Android L, which could be called either Lollipop or Lemon Meringue Pie.
