New Delhi, February 28, 2013- Salman Khan, the numero uno of Bollywood, who has been riding high on success with the release of his films on Eid every year, is facing changed dynamics in 2013.
There is a possibility that arch rival Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express directed by Rohit Shetty might release this year on Eid. If sources are to be believed, the changes in the schedule of Salman Khan’s upcoming film Mental, which might not get completed in time might give way to the release of SRK’s film.
Ever since he hit a jackpot with his 2009 film Wanted that released on Eid, the festival became synonymous with the star. And he went on to release his other films-Bodyguard and Ek Tha Tiger too on the auspicious occasion of Eid, which garnered him assured success. But things are all set to change this year.”Salman bhai had left his mark on the Eid date since the past three years, with Wanted, Bodyguard and Ek Tha Tiger. This year, it could be SRK who could stake a claim to the date, which is also a holiday everywhere,” reported a source to a tabloid.
Furthermore, King Khan is also expected to face competition from Sunny Deol, who is releasing his film Singh Saheb The Great around the same time.
