Kuala Lumpur – PKR’s defacto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s Deepavali message purportedly written from Sungei Buloh prison has been posted on his official facebook page. The message reads as follows:
“My dear fellow Malaysians!
I take this opportunity to wish all of you a joyous Festival of Lights.
Deepavali brings the great and universal message that good must triumph over evil.
This carries a deep meaning for all of us; we are governed by a political coalition that has utterly lost all moral authority.
The people face the consequences of the BN’s failures and indifference; rising living and fuel costs, burdensome taxes such as GST and economic stagnation.
But with the festival of lights comes also hope and joy; let us march together towards a new beginning!
Deepavali Naal Vaalthugal!!
