The first official picture of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Kochadaiyaan is out.
The actor’s daughter Soundarya Ashwin tweeted the picture and wrote: A still from Kochadaiyaan
Kochadaiyaan also features Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Shobana, and R. Sarath Kumar. It is jointly produced by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment.
Rajinikanth is playing a double role in the film.
The trailer of the film will be unveiled at the forthcoming Cannes International Film Festival in May.
Kochadaiyaan is touted as India’s first motion-capture film, made along the lines of Tin Tin and Avatar.
The film, which will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and English, is likely to hit the screens in July.
