KOTA BAHARU, March 1- Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin(Pic) arrived at the Sultan Ismail Petra Airport here, to start his one day visit to Kelantan. Muhyiddin who arrived with his wife Puan Sri Noorainee Abdul Rahman at 9.35am, was received by International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed, Deputy Finance minister Datuk Dr Awang Adek Hussin and state Barisan Nasional (BN) component party leaders. Upon his arrival, Muhyiddin and his wife attended the 1Malaysia People’s Gathering at the state Rural Transformation Centre (RTC) in Tunjong, here, at 10am.
Muhyiddin will perform the Friday prayers with local residents at Aril Mosque, Melor, here, and then attend a people’s feast at Kampung Tegayung Mosque, also in Melor, at 2.20pm. The Deputy Prime Minister and his wife would also attend the Kelantan Young People’s Gathering at the state Culture and Arts Department in Tanjung Chat, here, at 3.50pm. About 20,000 people from various non-governmental organisations are expected to attend the gathering. Muhyiddin and his wife are expected to return to the federal capital at 5.30pm.
