KUALA LUMPUR, March 15 – Malaysia Airlines (MAS) and its subsidiaries are offering attractive domestic and international travel airfares, MASholidays packages and travel-related products at the three-day MATTA Travel Fair at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) starting Friday.
MAS regional senior vice-president (Malaysia and Asean Region) Muzammil Mohamad said that the participation reflected MAS’ commitment towards supporting MATTA to make the event a success. He said all inclusive discounted airfares for economy and business class would be available through the national carrier’s appointed participating agents.
Firefly, a MASholidays brand and subsidiary, is offering domestic and international holiday packages as well promotional airfares at the Malaysia Airlines’ booths (from 2184 to 2218) at Hall 2 at the PWTC, he said in a statement.
Muzammil said MAS would also be offering special fares on selected oneworld routes via its oneworld member airlines, including British Airways, American Airlines, Japan Airlines, Dragonair and Qantas to cities like Rome, Geneva, Lisbon, Oslo and Miami.
All inclusive return economy class fares for the travel period till Nov 30 start at attractive prices from RM399 to popular and affordable regional destinations like Singapore, Bandar Seri Begawan, Jakarta and Bangkok, RM699 to Hong Kong, RM1,099 to Chennai, Dhaka, Male and Colombo, and RM2,499 to London, Paris, Amsterdam and Frankfurt.
“Business class travellers can enjoy all inclusive return airfares from RM1,599 to Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Saigon and Hanoi, RM2,979 to both Beijing and Shanghai, RM4,459 to Tokyo, and RM12,999 to Los Angeles.
“Similar fares to London and Paris start from RM10,999 on business class and passengers will enjoy the travel comfort of Malaysia Airlines’ all new Airbus A380-800,” he said.
Meanwhile, oneworld fares via British Airways, American Airlines, Japan Airlines, Dragonair and Qantas start from RM1,799 to Changsha, Cengdu and Fuzhou, RM3,299 to Rome, Vienna, Munich, Oslo, Stockholm on all inclusive return economy class while business class fares start from RM5,599. Apart from that, Enrich, the Malaysia Airlines Loyalty and Frequent Flyer programme, is offering every customer who signs up as member 2,000 Enrich Miles while existing members can look forward to redeem RM50 vouchers at 3,000 Enrich Miles only.
