New Delhi, April 5, 2013-Prime Minister Mnamohan Singh on Friday did not rule himself out of the race for the coveted post for a third term even as he welcomed Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi to replace him if the party comes to power after 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
Interacting with reporters after inaugurating the International Workshop on Green National Accounting for India, Singh took some uncomfortable questions which have been the highlights in media reports these days.
The Prime Minister praised Rahul Gandhi’s speech at the CII AGM on Thursday calling it “excellent”.

Question: There is a debate going on about duel power centre. What do you think of it?
PM: This is a useless debate. This is all media creation.
Question: There are speculations about your third term.
PM: These are all hypothetical questions. We are yet to complete this term.
Question: But, you are not ruling it out?
PM: I am not ruling it in not ruling it out.
Question: How was Rahul Gandhi’s speech?
PM: It was excellent.
Question: Will you welcome Rahul Gandhi as PM?
PM: Oh yes, any day.
